A Squirt 2 player can only “play up” on Squirt 1, Pee Wee 2 and Pee Wee 1

In the matrix a player can only “play up” on teams “up and to the left”

Additional Information:

  • Each League allows a player to “play up” a certain number of times before the higher team “owns” the player. Dual State and Middlesex the number is 5, Valley 6
  • The Head Coach MUST be contacted FIRST. You do NOT call a player/parent without first discussing it with the player’s head coach. Head coach will know who is most deserving, who is capable, who is suspended, etc.
  • None of this applies to tournaments (Holiday Tournaments or the State Tournament). Tournaments have their own rules.

We will not violate the spirit of fair play and good sportsmanship when calling a player up. We will not call up a player that is inappropriate for that level.
