Travel Hockey

The classifications for the 2025-2026 season are as follows:

Mites*: birth years 2017 and 2018 ($1,900)

Squirts: birth years 2015 and 2016 ($2,445)

Pee Wee: birth years 2013 and 2014 ($2,445)

Bantam: birth years 2011 and 2012 ($2,145)

Midget (Half-season): birth years 2010 and older ($645)

*Most WYH hockey players for Mite teams will be at least 6 or 7 years old and typically will have completed at

least one year of Learn-to-Play or Introduction to Hockey.  

September through March/April

Placements for next season are held in March each year. Click here for the placement schedule and on the right to register for Placements. 

Teams are announced in April. Commitment and first deposit are due June 1st. The season runs from September until playoffs at the end of March/beginning of April.

Teams will play 30-40 games over the course of the season and will usually fall on the weekends.

There are team practices twice per week which periodically incorporate skills sessions led by outside providers. Many of these practices and skills sessions are held at Flynn Rink in Medford, however, some are held at other close by rinks including Holland Arena in Woburn, LoConte Memorial Rink in Medford, Burlington Ice Palace, Veterans Memorial Rink in Somerville and Keller Rink at Belmont Hill School.
